Happy Halloween Everyone!!
Progress:
So yesterday, I visited the Orange County Museum of Art. I have always heard of this museum and the Los Angeles Museum of Art. However, I thought LACMA was too mainstream so I decided to go here!
Just like the the Long Beach Museum of Art, I was in for a surprise just right in front of the building. Who knew it would be a sculpture of a giant dog peeing on the building!

The art shown here were almost random but that's what made it so much cooler because you could not expect what you would see next!
What I mostly saw were paintings and art that took up the entire room. There were sculptures that looked liked the artist put random objects put together, but they were still interesting enough to be called art! I was truly amazed.

These are my favorite paintings I found here because they are the most vivid in color. They stand out well, too. I like the rainbows and designs in the background of the first painting. For the second painting, I like the variety of shapes and designs that are holding up the elephant. Yes, elephants!
As I mentioned before, there was art that took up the floor of the entire room. Although you were restricted on space to walk, it was still so cool. One room was filled with flowers all over the ground. There was a little machine that controlled them so they could spin in circles. It gave me a creepy feeling but I thought it was creative.
Lastly, I found that art could be as simple as this picture here. All it had were shades of black but, as always, I still loved it. I wonder what gave the artist the idea to create something like this?
Reflection:
I really enjoyed my visit at OCMA. It maybe not be as big as the one is L.A. but I didn't feel like I was missing out on much. The art in front of the building really caught my attention so I was hoping all of the other art pieces were humorous but I was still fine with that. There was also a small workshop outside so people could do arts and crafts but sadly, I did not have time for that. I'm glad I was not disappointed after visiting here!
